As far as I remember, I completely rewrote most of the “heavy” DB updates to use more complex SQL queries instead of simple but inefficient PHP routines.

I could go and improve/tweak the algorithm, etc, but I just don’t have the resources to put something like this online – a very powerful server would be needed, and I have no idea if the script would scale. So the idea is back-burnered indefinitely; still interesting but impractical at the time.

I doubt it would be that simple, and the algorithm isn’t ready for massive amounts of users yet.

i think that would be amazingly useful. maybe theres a way you could submit the code to dA and they could just host it
