How To Become a Vampire
I was looking at some search stats and noticed that this question (how to become a vampire?) was more common than you might expect. Every day, nearly 100 people were looking for a way to join the ranks of the stylish undead. “An interesting topic for a little tutorial”, I thought. Hence this post.
It seems the jury’s still out on how, exactly, vampires are created. Some sources cite ancient beliefs (mostly useless superstition), some insist on the popular bitten-by-vampire myth, and some claim that you simply can’t “become” a vampire if you’ve been born human. Maybe there’s no single way. So, instead of focusing on any of the aforementioned approaches, I’ll describe three common vampiric features that you can attain without any supernatural help.
Hypnotism (AKA Mesmerism)
“True” vampires have it easy – some mind-control skills are supposedly included in the whole dark revenant package, along with good looks and sharp teeth. But don’t despair, … wait, no, despair is cool. Ahem. As I was saying, hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming are well within the reach of mere mortals, so you are free to learn and use it – even if your heart is still beating. To get an (optimistic) idea of what you might achieve, take a look at Derren Brown. He’s done some very impressive things (videos).
Night Vision
Excellent low-light vision is something I’ve always wanted. You can improve your night vision by using a few tricks, and science might eventually figure something out.
The most promising idea I discovered is NightWalking. The website has a heavy slant towards philosophy/spirituality that reminds me vaguely of Carlos Castaneda, but it also contains a detailed guide on improving your peripheral vision. As you might already know, in a situation when there’s very little light, peripheral vision is much more effective than central vision. Better peripheral vision = better night vision, so this is definitely something worth trying.
Dark and Mysterious
The “dark” part won’t be a problem – just pick something from the wide range of goth stuff available. Maybe invest in coloured contact lenses and/or appropriate makeup.
As for being mysterious, well… * nods and smiles knowingly *
Ah, okay, I’ll be more verbose. There’s a bunch of lame tutorials about “how to be mysterious” on the web, but they’re generally a crazy mix of the somewhat useful and the completely ridiculous. In my opinion the coveted “aura of mysteriousness” is a pinch of secrecy + a certain form of inner confidence. And it’s not the kind of confidence that lets you approach strangers and sing on stage. I’m talking about the kind that frees you from seeking external validation of your thoughts, actions and existence. This is something that very few people have, but it can be learned. Think.
Miscellaneous Thoughts
I suspect most people in the “how to become a vampire” crowd are looking for a shortcut to becoming cool (is that a pun?). That is understandable. My main reservation about this is that it’s an unlikely shortcut — and that most wanna-be’s don’t really understand what they’re asking for when they say “I want to be a vampire!”.
Personally, I consider the concept of blood-craving bona-fide vampires unrealistic. I haven’t seen any reasonable biological explanations for it, and the idea that “it’s magic!” doesn’t do it for me on this overall low-magic planet. Psychic vampirism is a different thing entirely, but there’s generally nothing glamorous about being unable to sustain your existence without becoming a (possibly unknowing) parasite. Okay, parasitism might not be the only way, but I won’t discuss that here.

I have very sharp teeth, I HATE going outside. I just burn, i am alot paler than my friends. I have very good eyesite in the dark and Love meat. I eat alot more meat than my family and usually like the ones filled with juice(blood)

It depends. While vampires might have those qualites, not everyone who is like that is a vampire. Or, to put it differently – all vampires have teeth, but not everyone who has teeth is a vampire.
well i basically fit all of the above but yet i dont find myself craving blood all the time.
to become one, you have to know one who is tired of being what he or she is, for they have to die for you to become one. you have to eat their heart and brain. disgusting i know.

I found a name for our struggle. There is no complication with sunlight, I assure you. A simple rare steak will suffice, keeping in mind the craving for blood is measured by ones involvement and coonection. There is only one way to be, we can say, “initiated”… respond to this, if you are interested that is. I don’t want to waste my time, be sure of what you seek.

there is little advise i can give but 4 what i know there are 2 things u can do. U can
either resist ur craving and try to hide the fact that u are a vamp or u can try to convert back to human which is really hard. i am neither vamp or human. i am a cross breed i am half vamp half human so in tech terms i am a dhampir. i have only some of a vampires affinities. i have excellent night vision and i have a craving 4 blood but i am not burned by sunlight.

I’m not sure how i became a dhampir but one day i woke up with an insane thirst and water wasn’t cutting it. so about a month ago i went to the doctors and they said that i was hypoglycemic. but later that day when cut my self i had an want 4 the blood hat was flowing out of my arm. and i feel fine after i drink some blood.
there are multiple ways to help stop cravings but most involve pain to u or another person.
1.u can cut ur self and drink ur blood
or
2.u can try to resist ur cravings and most likely fail and go on a blood rampage.
there is a possibility that u arn’t a vamp and u are a dhampir like me. there are a few dhampirs that i know of but we are spread out in the U.S. and i am the only one with a blood craving. and it is a pain in my @$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been a vampire since 1947. I’ve been 18 for a while now. If I do say myself, a lot of these websites have everything wrong about our kind. Of course we don’t like the sun much, we don’t eat much human food (only when necessary, like when we’re around humans or at school and stuff), if you’re strong enough you can go without blood for more than a couple weeks. Our body temperature is quite chilly. Most people would say it is very unusual to have such a cold temperature. I’m also sure some of you have heard that we sometimes are created with a supernatural power or ability. It’s rare to get one of these gifts, but I do have one. I was created with the ability to push out whatever my feelings are, whether it is depressed or dismal to happy or joyful, to the people that surround me. I can push this ‘force’ out about 30 feet. My vampire family and I have still been working on my ‘force’. It is a very interesting subject. So if you have any questions about vampires ask me.
I believe that half the posts on here are from small children or teens that have read some kind of vampiric fictional novel, by the latest post I would say “Twilight”
How can some of you actually say that you are indeed vampires? I’ve read a lot of different posts of people claiming to be vampires but all say very different things. To answer Kelly’s question, being a vampire isn’t as bad as people are lead to believe. It is not lonely nor is it the coolest thing in the world. Sometimes you just feel normal, like you can fit in. It’s just not as easy for some of us. Though we are alike we are still different souls. And there is no proof to show you that we exsist only that you believe. I tell you all of this because I want people to understand and be curious and to use an imagination of thoughts and pictures they’ve created to know what it’s like. You cannot just find out if someone is a vampire. You have to sense it. You can only trust the vampires you know because some of our kind are very dangerous, though they shouldn’t be around many humans at one time unless they are strong and can handle the scent of humans and their blood.
Mandy, this is a very simple question to answer. Every vampire can change someone, for the venom in all vampires flows in their mouth and on their teeth. It is like a human’s saliva except with venom. Some vampires only change a human if it is absolutely necessary. My family and I only live (poor choice of wording) off of the blood of animals in the wild while other vampires choose to drink human blood thus changing them into a vampire.

To Jess I was wondering well ive done some research and i want to know the process of turning from the human side. Also i was wondering if there is any certain things you can do to turn without being bit.
Well, the process is simple though it takes a lot of time and pain. All the vampire must do is bite the person so the venom goes into the bloodstream. It is best that the bite is near to the heart becuase it is the most important thing to keep a human alive. There isn’t really any other way to turn. I say really because you could have an injection, but where would you get the venom? Highly unlikely. That was probably the easiest question I’ve answered.

For everyone who is on this site has either seen the movie “Bloodrayne” or read or seen the “Twilight” series. i have read both and seen both, but this does not mean i am a vampire. Then what you are saying is that throughout history Vampires were just a legend that started out in transylvania and then spread to all of the world and got famous. How does a simple idea do that back in 1200? Not even a printing press was invented then to spread the word and there is no way someone travled the whole earth or got some people to. Which case if you have faith in vampires just like any god or whatever you want to beleive in then it very well could exist.

Well, no you cannot change because you’ve consumed the vampires blood because it would be extremely hard to get. Pretty much Impossible, because a vampires skin is almost completely impenetrable and vampires are much stronger than you, so they could and would hurt you if they felt a threat or offense from you. And no you can’t just become a vampire.

As far as I know there isn’t a spell to change you into a vampire. Besides, who would change you? I’ve been wrong before though. It’s rare, but I have.

If you can stand it and stay calm, you can go without blood for 2-3 weeks at a time. All vampires become strong when the change. As far as fangs go, I wouldn’t say it’s exactly like that. Our teeth are sharper for ripping and tearing, but not full out fangs.
You don’t have to go to the bathroom because you dont really digest the blood, so it doesn’t go all the way through your body. Your body uses the blood as energy. You don’t have to take a shower because you don’t sweat or anything. Only if you fall in a mud puddle.

Why do people think my story is crap? I did nothing but share it and people had questions to follow it. You know, each vampire is different. first of all, if you can see well in the dark, that could be a symptom.(or u eat too many carrots), if u crave blood, or if you can barely see in the light. u might not have all of these if u are a damphire. I only see in the dark and barely see in light. But then again, sometimes my eyes are light grey so that might have something to do with it.
Hmmmmmm… Well I can see well in the dark, but in the light as well. I glow in the dark because I’m so pale, that the moon bounces off my skin. I LOVE carrots,but do not eat to many. I do crave blood, but I thought that was just my amaganation.
i can see in the dark…the light hurts my eyes but thats because i have an astigmatizm…my eyes are lighter in the dark…i prefer human food…the smell of blood is enough to make me sick… ‘m always hotter then everybody…i cant run fevers(or atleast never have)

Uh. Weird things happen to me. My eyes are naturally a really, really dark brown, sometimes they look black. But sometimes, my eyes are a really light brown honey colour. It changes with my mood. =S And my skin is really white.
This happens a fair bit, if i say something, like “your going to get hurt” it happens to the person i say it too. One time, i was fighting with a friend and i told her she was going to get hurt. She kept of falling over, and she twisted her ancle, and nearly got hit by 2 cars when she was walking home.
A few years ago i was in the bathroom, i turned to my toothbrush and stared at it, and i swear, it lifted up 3 inches.

Hello everyone. My name is Jayne, im 12 years old, and i know im not human. I have changed alot recently. My eyes have started to change colour, and my naturally light brown hair has turned into a dark brown!
I keep on hearing things in my head. If i cocentrate, i can hear talking, and then someone near me will say what i heard!
Its really freaking me out. My sence of smell has gotten stronger, if someone starts to bleed, i can smell it from a fair distance away. I can see better in the dark too!

Jayne when I was little I was just like you, but sadly this is just a normal phase that we children go through. Lack of sunlight causes our hair to change color, and the fact that you can see in the dark may also be a factor to that. Eye colors do change, from dark to light colors or the opposite because our bodys always change during time. And the voices are odd things that happen to me too, but that I can’t explain for…

I woke up in an alley way when i was 13 and now im 17 i still look 13. I crave blood and being in a high school with 2thousand people is very hard. I try to ignore all of this but it is very hard. I have no friends so i can never talk to anyone about my “problems” i am the wierd loner that everyone makes fun of. ok, honestly, i just read a comment that says: “i hate my life. i want to be a vampire” just because you hate your life, does not mean that being a vampire will help it any. in most cases, it might make it worse. I am a full-blooded vampire. most tease and or mock me because i have a STRONG obsession with the taste of blood. that is indelibly why i have not stepped foot in my nurse’s office. in my school, too much blood goes around so i tried to stay isolated. that is reasoning 2 why i get teased and mocked. i do not – and wish not to make any contact with mortals. if i get attached, i might end up hurting them. that happened with my ex-friend. i ended up hurting him. but, my point is, just because you hate you life, doesn’t mean being a vampire is going to make it any better then it already is. Hmm, I seem to be spamming alot at the moment. I might as well tell you my story.
I am in Australia, and where I live there is a small coven of 3. We all go to the same school, making it alot easier. None of us really fit in with the others.

I was the second to join the coven in my town. I was walking the streets on new years 06, there were many people about, and I was originally with my siblings, who were older than me at the time. I decided to walk home, knowing that it was only 1 block away. I went down the lane near my house. I then saw a small figure kneeling down in the gutter, so I went to investigate. I shouldn’t have. As I came into view of the figure, I automatically recognised who it was. The figure was of a male from my school, three years older. He was leaned over a large dog, just finishing it off. I screamed at the sight. He came closer, and held his hand over my mouth, he pushed me down, and bit down into my arm. I couldn’t scream, his hold was too strong. I remember waking up 3 days later, I was in a small room in a house, it wasn’t my house. After one hour, Nicoloas came in. He explained what had happened, and that he was sorry. He helped me through it all.

It was of an advantage to me that my parents were in England for 3 weeks when it happened, and that my siblings wouldn’t have cared why I didn’t turn up home.

I hate to say it, but many people are quite wrong on how vampires are created. “Being bitten” isn’t even close to the exchange between a fully fledged vampire and it’s fledgling. Most vampires now-a-days are created from true vampires who were BORN vampires. They weren’t changed. Today’s group of young ones are quite ignorant as well. However, I must say, the information you’ve taken the time to look over and post is most impressive. Please, do continue to post info on the research you find. It’s quite intriguing.

P.S: I do not wish to be changed like others. I’m just here to befriend you guys. If by the way it interests you, there’s a ‘baby vampire’ born here (in Ile-De-France) and he must be killed(according to a priest) since he has a lot of strength and has even threatened his mother to death if she ever tries to kill him. The baby vampire’s family is actually involved in witchcraft, so they now have a vampire in their family (resulting as a ‘curse’ according to some people). What’s funny is that the baby of 5 months can even talk! I don’t know if it’s a rumor or not but this news is going widespread.

Vampires can’t CHANGE humans unless they KILL them. This lifestyle is one that no pleasant human being would ever want. For those of us who are hundreds, even thousands of years old (in my case), the matter would probably be agreed upon that no decent vampire would ever try to kill a human to awaken them into vampirism. It would be cruel, inhumane, as well as a way of cheating a person out of the destiny they may have lying ahead of them. And in the case of those who are here seaking to die to become a vampire because they hate their lives, FORGET IT!!!! Vampirism would only make matters worse for you. You’d hate yourself even more and want to be dead rather than “undead” I guess you would call it.
In the circumstances that I live in, I’m forced to use my PSI abilities over my Sanguinarian abilities. I’ve survived for as long as I have by using the PSI half over the “other” half of myself, because I’d rather be hidden. On here, I’m simply stating this to try to talk some sense into everyone that is begging. I hate revealing who and WHAT I am to others. It shames me deeply. However, I’ve managed to stay hidden this long, even around a family of humans with which I reside at this current moment. (I’m not going to say where either, so don’t ask.)

Yes, vampires probably do “exist” in Indonesia. They’ve spread far and wide, and actually, I’ve visited Australia before. Quite nice, the last time I saw it. That was when all the trees were still there though. I was brought over on the ships that first disturbed the continent. The carnivorous kangaroos were quite surprising though. I’d hate to have been tackled by one of them. Bad enough I ran into that porcupine-like creature.

But i do agree with some that should be changed…maybe people with dark auras, but i don’t know. are all of you people insane? i am a vampire i was changed because of my inhuman powers me and my other clan members mackenzie anabella and demelza. have gone through the pain of the change we become pale because we have all the blood drained out of our body because our heart has stopped beating. the venom of the vampire is then ejected into where we were bitten then it travels through our body killing us taking over the blood and mixing with it. this takes about 48 hours or a tid bit more. it is a horrifying and painfull experience. you will usally remember only large things of your human life.

Unfortunately, Vincilia, no one listens anyways. There have been quite a few of these people who will just not quit and stop trying to have us change them. I was born vampyre (as it is supposed to be correctly spelled) and even being born this way, it still is a burden and quite painful.

I’ve been having some weird dreams, night-mears actully, like I dreamed that I was in a hotell surounded by water, and there was 2 bombs that were about 2 go off, I tryed everything I could 2 stop them from going off, But in order 2 save my-self I ennded up jummping off the hotell roof. The dream changed where I was wit my class, where the bomb had gone off. I looked at where the hotell used 2 be, n saw 2 grups of ghosts, 1 small n 1 big. the small group jumped right before the bomb went off. the small group didnt make it, nither did the big 1. It was like a reoncarnation of wat happened. then I went under the water n saw all the bodies of the peeps that had died. I just recently had a dream that a deamoned took my bro on a ship n covered his face wit I guess puss so he couldnt see. I tryed 2 save my bro… But the deamoned thru him in the water. I jumped in 2 save him.. But he had already drowned… These Night-mares have made me the most scared that I have ever been… Well not quite true, but still!! Just because you want to be a vampire and you’ve had a hard life, doesn’t mean that “vampirism” is right for you or anyone else who’s human. Vampyres (correctly spelled) are born the way we are. As I’ve said a million and a half times…It’s very difficult to “change” a human…It requires draining almost all of your energy from you and you would possibly die from it. However, most cases of where people want to become vampyres, they already are. They just haven’t awakened yet. I know how you feel, about no one caring about you. I’ve had it worse off than you, trust me. My clan threw me into exile. It’s not easy when you were falsely blamed for treason. Look up, on google or anywhere else, Michelle Belanger. You all vampires need to understand that for a person asking you to change him from human to a vampire, that person must have done a lot of researches. I understand that there are a lot of people who are wanna-be and will surely show off after having undergone this transformation like ‘yay! I’m a vampire!’ thing BUT there are some HELPLESS people who want help from you. I have been following these posts from a long time. Some people take you for freaks and some believe in you. I’m somehow sure that 4 over 50 among you are vampires. At first I wanted to be transformed but later realised that being a human is more like a gift than being a vampire. I have some vampire friends who are always in a state of guilt. They hate killing people but it is like a must for them. No blood, no survival. Some manage to feed off energies from humans but it is not the case with all of them. Many of them had to desert their families. Those wanting to become a vampire, you need to think over your decision again. How does being a vampire change your life? You want to possess more powers? You want to kill? Or do you want to haunt at night? Truely a human’s life is a far better one.

For those of us who are of vampyre kin, at least in my circumstance, I don’t like turning others at all for a few reasons, one, they have to come as close to death as they ever will be until they actually die, two, who wants a life on the run and of being hunted down or even having the chance of being exhiled at false traitorship or one mere mistake against the clans, and three…..this is no life to live for anyone…..I’m sure that most of us who’ve been on here can agree with me when I say this. Those humans among the people we’ve killed we feel the most regret for. This may not be true for some, but for the innocent ones that I have killed for them getting in my way or with them shoved into the middle of these barbaric wars, I feel so much guilt and regret for. They have far better lives, living in peace except for the very unfortunate FEW who have some troubles. Those who want to be “changed” or “transformed” into one of us, it is a difficult decision for us for those reasons. Please like “FreakyRJ” said, please do rethink what you are trying to do to yourselves. I’ve been on the run for over 340 years and it’s not any life to live. We have no Christmas or New Year’s, we have no Valentine’s Day that we can happily share with anyone without saying anything along the lines of “I wish we were both human”. It’s no life to live for any of us no matter what anyone says. It’s horrid and just plain death among the other ways we could live but because of the issues we cause ourselves, there is no way to avoid it.
And for the one who said, “We have to drink blood or we die,” that’s not true. We can go for months without touching blood even though it smells really great at times and we don’t even have to tap energy for that matter for a while, we just become weaker than what our true strength could be. I’m still alive and I haven’t touched a single drop of blood in over 340 years, I just recently tapped energy three days ago and I haven’t touched it since over 67 years ago. I’m clearly still here. So your theory on how we die without it is wrong. That’s all Hollywood and fairytale crap…Just so you know. But nice suggestion towards some.
It surprises me too see so many of my kind here. Although, I can not say that all are true, i can say that it humbles me too see so many reaching out into the modern age and embracing it. I am reletivly new. I havnt had much time to get grips on it yet, but it really shocks me to think of how many there are.

I’ve been alive for over 3,340 years No name. I’m one of the older ones of our kin, however a few ancients who originally ruled our clans are still alive. The one who began the line in which I was born still is alive today. It amazes me at how much he’s learned by simply writing on this page. He’s posted slightly a few comments before. Caileth is his name. He’s got a few posts that have become quite old. He’s very protective of any clan member no matter what has happened to them in the past, unless they’ve killed one of their own.

Yay!! Its X-mas!! I had to stay up till 1:45 helping with the presents, I wasnt really that tyred but I figured that if I didnt go to sleep soon my Bro’s would be waking up someone very cranky. And I got just about everything I wanted!! Books, a skillet, and water color pencils!! …..wow all that stuff i didnt really need to tell you all well
for christmas i had gotten several books, gift cards, and other things. oh, and guess what else? i went to visit my crazy family in tulsa. talk about stress, thank goodness im back here in chicago.
I got books (n have already gfinished most of them),
a skillet with direction on how 2 make a really big coco chip cookie in it (I love 2 cook),
water color pencils (I’ve been using them so much their already half way used),
and a camera!! yay^^ now i cant take anoying pics of my bro lol!!
I spent X-mas at my moms thank goodness!! I switch off hollidays with my parents and last time my dad had me……I dont like going 2 my dads fr X-mas, it ends up being hell. First it starts off with me reading till 2 am, my dad waking me up at 7(witch is 6 where I live) on X-mas eve to open all our presents…on x-mas EVE!!!!
while opening my presents I try 2 keep a smile on my face as i open the gifts 2 find everything i did NOT want, from necklaces 2 a make-up kit.
I go 2 bed n read till 2 am…my dad wakes me up at 7, n i open my stoking on x-mas, n do absolutly nothing fr the rest of the day, l8er I drive 12 hrs 2 get home, n I hug my mom at first sight glad I wont have 2 go back till summer time.
For christmas I got over 500 dollars, and spent like $140 dollars of it on a shity home theater thing that you can plug yer dvd and game system into and play/watch it on the wall or roof(”90”) but it sucks cuz its blurryer then it should be and the colour on it is retardedly bright. It it also unleveled so its on a slant and the recipt is at my friends house some where and im fucking starving…
i have not had blood ever, but a couple drops of my own. I imagine the tast of someone elses blood would be much better, well human…
Animal blood(already had red meat from the store… animal blood is not as good as you would think) Im getting more hungry as the days pass, and getting picked on at school does not help me with that at all… I have to hold myself back alot,

i had a dream 2 nights agowhere my friend and i were in a car, and he was driving over this bridge made out of stone. the bridge didnt have railings on the side, and underneath there was a river about 300 feet below with jagged rocks. my friend had some problems with the steering wheel, and the car slowly turned and fell over the side. and the scary thing was, was that it all felt so realistic because normally dreams have a sort of sureal feeling to them. i woke up when i was in midair in the car, and i was so happy to be alive! i wanted to look up my dream in my dream dictionary, but i lost it

i want to work in law enforcement because most jobs in law enforcement never do the same tedious task every day. every day there is something different to do, and that is how you make life interesting. thats cool that you want to go to a boarding school, maddie. there is this one boarding school in my area called IMSA (Illinois math and science academy) and apparently the education is really nice, but the students there are just a bunch of stuck up little brats. i have a friend who went there but she left because the work was too much, and her roommates sucked. anyway today (or i should say, yesterday as of 11 minutes ago) was april fools day! did any of you pull any pranks?

while im here, and since none of you really know me so it doesnt matter, i am super angry at my smelly, angsty 13 year old brother. he was born with a birth defect that messed up his bladder nerves so he cant feel when he has to go so he wears a diaper. thats not what bothers me. what bothers me is that he will wear a stinky diaper all day and not change it, then go in my room and make my room smell like piss. oh and he hates showers so that makes it worse. i just got in a huge fight with him and my mom who took his side (she always does because he is the only boy, hes the youngest, and my mom feels guilty about his problem) yelled at me since im being paranoid even though the awful scent is lingering in my room. then my mom was being…herself and said some awful things. this all just happened about…6.5 minutes ago so im pretty angry and felt like venting and plotting a plan. k bye

Hello to every reader,
This is meant to be a letter to those whom read this and can handle the mind torturing things that leave you uncertain and that points you in many questions from what seemed like a rational answers. Not many people have the ability to handle this confusion and uncertainty. Some have even committed suicide, because they could not handle the questions and answers that seem to come non-stop. Before you read on consider the fact that you may very well not be able to handle it either.
I am going to start with basic information and wisdom that I have gathered over my sixteen years of existence. Has anyone ever told you, perhaps from a religious view, that you were born innocent? Well, if not than it may be harder for you to grasp that it is not true. What is innocence? Well the dictionary claims it to be; the state of not being guilty of a crime or offense and harmlessness in intention. You see, these are just words in a book, so yes they can be very meaningless. Innocence doesn’t really exist or does it? This would be an example of one of many questions that seem hard to answer. Well perhaps it is not hard, but rather…the fact of wanting to be right is frustrating part. Innocence… well let me prove my reasoning with another piece of wisdom that will support why I said it didn’t exist. Everyone has opinions and in that we learn that opinions are not facts. So therefore how can we say what innocence is if we all have a different opinion on its meaning? You see everyone is wrong and right.
In this world your name is who you are, correct? It is how someone knows you, correct? No, your name is but that, only a name. It is not who you are. I do believe to know who we are we use all the small delicate details of what we are inside. Though, others simply think, well why isn’t my name not a apart of who I am? Because, can your name be defined? Hmm…for example; Rachel or Christopher…who are they, what if someone had the same name? You see your name is not a part of who you are, but it is a label. Also, speaking of labels, could we possibly go a day without labeling anything or anyone? No, it is not possible, though everyone, including that of religious beliefs, is that anything is possible. (will continue when finished)

I used 2 have a step Dad. I called him Papa, because it would b weird if i called him dad, and called my dad dad…so it was just easyer.
My mom had me when she was 19. My REAL dad offered my mom 2 come n live with him. so they could both take care of me….My dad’s parents drove across the state just 2 tell me dad he could not have my mom live wit him……so my dad called my mom and said his parents would not alow him 2 live with my mom….so after my mom cancled her colage scholor-ship, she finds out she has no place 2 go, AND a baby.
soon after my mom and papa decide it would be best if they got married. 2 years l8r they had my Bro james (james is my bro and best friend)
Papa, thought wat ever we did was wrong….so for punishment, he would wip us, throw us across the room, and make us do wat ever we did wrong over again. till we got it right.
One night he hit my mom when she wouldnt turn the channel…that was her braking point….she devorced him
5 years l8r, their married….again….1 year l8r they have my little bro (hes such a sweet heart)
Papa dosnt think hes wrong….no matter wat…I have always had horable night-mares….of people being ripped apart, the smell of rotting flesh, and someone trying 2 kill me….on top of that, i had 2 hide under the covers whenever papa came into the room, so i wouldnt have 2 witness him beating me bros.
i broke my arm when i was six, he didnt belive it was broken but my mom took me 2 the hospital anyways…..When they found out it was broken, he just said ‘Its probably because shes so fragile’
I was grounded when i didnt do the dishes the right way…..I was beat if i talked back…….I always had 2 tell him where I was, and my EXACT schedule…..He didnt have any respect for woman, and once touched me inappropriately……..Finnaly, just last year, my mom devorced him for the last time!!
My dad…..he never wanted anything 2 do wit me when i was little…..Now all he wants is 2 spend every second of the day with me…….One time i was really sick when i was at his house, and he was at work…so i txt my mom and ask for this really cool tea that gets ride of sore throat like that!!(imaganary snap)
So when my dad gets back from work, and asks bout my day, i tell him that i doin better cues i ask my mom for her special tea….he goes balistek!! yellin @ me n tellin me the nxt time i was feelin sick n @ his house i was supposed 2 call HIM…NOT my mom
I’ve never had a good friend….my friends were always the peeps who hung out wit me….made fun of me….took advantage of me…. and never ivited me aywhere
My life in a nut shell
Maddie, I understand in many ways what you have been through and currently going through. The people you think are your friends turn out to never be your friend at all, though in opinion, everyone has a certain thought on what a friend is, but as for me I will greatly help you in any way I can. If you need advice or someone to speak with I will be here.
As for your situation…-sighs- you may have heard “things will get better” or “pray to this god and he will make it all go away.” Never believe that. You control your life in so many ways, you just have to figure out your own path.

I understand what you mean about the friend thing. I have never had a real friend either, and I’m always the third wheel. So I kind of get you on that part.
Vincilia Delmorsal, I was a bit surprised to hear that you were 16. I don’t judge on age (I’m 16 myself) but I always thought from reading your posts that you were older, like 30-40. Especially with your poetry, you must have a very advanced and mature mind!
“Insertnamehere”, I understand your accusation of my age, but most make the same thought. Indeed, I have a well developed mind. I thank you greatly for that acknowledgment. My age and image deprives me of who I am in many ways, my friend. Ah, it is wonderful to hear from you again. How have you been?

hey ive got a Q. Dose any1 here have trouble sleepin?? i do, and the doc. said it would help me sleep if i got up and move around, or read a book.
and ive tryed that, but it only gives me even more sleepless nights. I wouldnt mind so much if i didnt have school 5 days a week. on the weekeds i dnt get 2 sleep in, cuse of my mom wakin me up @ 10:00, or my bros screamin nxt to my bedroom wall.

My advice is simple, try using your thought process to help you sleep. Meaning, we generate the idea to breathe by telling ourselves sub-conciously to do so, perhaps you could some what you that same method to help you sleep. I often cannot sleep, but I perfer it that way. I usually don’t suggest medication, but you could try sleeping pills. I hope I was of some help.
hey maddie. if you have problems sleeping, maybe you should try to take some sleeping pills like what vincilia said (but you should try to avoid taking medication unless you absolutely cant sleep) or just some plain benadryl. i had a bad stomach ache a couple of days ago and had a hard time sleeping so i took a benadryl and it knocked me right out. i slept so well…

I watched a movie about DNA splicing, and the creation broke out of its test tube, went Ape-Crazy and killed everyone! I know I’m being a baby, but I’m just afraid that modern science could acually do that!

oh, my stepdad is just being his sadistic self again. He likes taking away the things i love for small reasons (recently he told me that i couldn’t go to my martial arts class because i told him to be quiet after he insulted my dad, told me that i have no friends bc no one likes me, and said some mean things about me personally. i’m being punished for telling him to be quiet while he can say whatever he wants?) and he loves picking fights with me so that he can use those fights to take away the things i love. he also likes ruining my future bc he knows that i do extremely well in school and im involved in many clubs (bc nowadays getting good grades isnt good enough for college, you have to be involved). so he likes taking my clubs away and telling my mom to not let me stay after school to get help from teachers whenever i dont understand something.

And, I have a problem too… I keep passing out, and the docs say theres nothing wrong with me, just that i still have a heart murmur but its so small that it isnt the cause of me passing out! And, some theories i have are that when i get exited or get thinking about something a lot, i forget to breathe. Also, that when i hear about somehting, i think about it so deeply that i freak myself out. (I hear smart ppl passed out, like Einstein, but im not overly smart….) so, idk what’s wrong with me. Any ideas?

hey esme, how often do you pass out and when? i was just wondering because i have a friend who passes out every time she exercises kind of hard. does that happen with you?
i passed out once while fasting and taking my blood for bloodwork, once when i was in science class, and once when i was getting my hair dyed. I have taken karate for 3 years now, and never once felt dizzy while doing it. It doesnt make any sense!!! What do these have in common? Why am i doing this? Will i die from this? I hate how pessimistic i’ve gotten, but i need answers! I hope im not a lost cause…

I have news that is somewhat bad, but there is also some good…
I have told a couple friends of my “condition” that of which is being a Vampire.
One friend told her friend because she thinks that im psycho, but she doesn’t understand me, at all.
I haven’t talked to her for a little while, but im starting to forgive her, the girl at my highschool that I love doesn’t even know (thankfully)
My friends still accept me and I have told them how I am attracted to wrists and neck, and ever since I had tasted my best friends blood I have a harder time sleeping, worse then usual.
My hunger for blood has worsened, I used to just think of bitting someone, it was a kind of “interest” now I actually become drawn to it, and it’s kinda annoying.
The other night I was in the east end of town with my friends because we were pulling an all nighter, and my friend Christina’s BF cut himself on the school wall that we were climbing, and he was comstantly talking about getting bitten by “vampire misquito’s” and he put his arm in my face, and as I angrily grab his arm and force it away, my friend Jade and Christina are laughing because they know I want to bite him and they thought that it was funny.
So the whole night that I was trying to control myself, he kept talking about his cut the entire night, at first I thought that it was because he knew…
but Christina and Jade were laughing the whole time he was saying Vampire, so I came to the conclusion that he thought he was funny.
Anyway, every one got tired and went home, but since the city busses only ran till 12:00, I was stranded in the east end, which was a far walk from the west end where I lived.
So, I “slept” over at Christina’s BF’s house, and had to sneek out at 6:30 in the morning, I only slept for 2 and a half hours, but once I got home at atleaset 8:30 in the morning, I slept till 6:00, then got up and watched some Family Guy.
Now back to the friend who told her friend about my “condition”.
I bearly talked to her, so the moral of my story I have just written is “Trust thoughs only closest”
I have a poem, I actually have alot.
This is one of them, and it is called “You’re moon shine”
The moon light glids over you’re radious face, as the moon fades away darkness fills this place.
The only light I know of follows you’re feet, as the darkness flows over mine.
In one life or another, I must have known you, because when I hear you’re voice, it is only happines that I show you.
The hatred and anger always crawls toward me, but when you look my way, its as if you adore me.
As darkness falls I shall see you’re set, as you stand I shall be blinded by light that has once been met.
Again I will know of you’re existance, as do I know of my love for you.
As I keep my pase while walking through the ally, I shall think of you as my words spler out sadly.
Only in you’re shine shall I be happy, for when im in darkness, I seem quite sappy.
Not only will my wish not come true, but I can’t beleive I still love you.
I need a guid to escape this fright, for I am not alright.
My love for you keeps me alive, its like a pool where I take a dive, because forever more my love for you will strive.
Slowly…
thoughts changing like the winter seasons, freezing me up for unknown reasons.
The pain seers through my head, so much that soon i’ll be dead.
My mind is slowly slipping away, unlike my child hood where I run and play, slowly I try to throw these emotions away.
The infection speads all through my head, slowly becoming the thing you all dread.
The only thing I have is how I so dearly hate, me, myself and I, are slowly starting to cry.
An aching heart
The sun’s rays cannot get rid of the dark days that have been consuming the world, and swallowing the town. Taking my life, and slowly cutting it with a knife. My only insticts now, is to take off the crown and simply throw it away. As I am sinking with pain, the grey clouds will rain, slowly adding to the blame, and making me itch with anger, my soul will burn in the ashes of hell, as my insides fell. I can only tell what kind of hatred i’ve felt, and slowly fading away, my heart will decay while hoping you’d say that will all be O.K. Now that your heart have been taken away, the only thing I can say, is “Have a good day”.
Whisper
The whispering winds of the darkening path keep blocking out the sun’s violent ray.
Never more will I see the day, the light in my eyes has been shut out again.
All is warm, and still i’m not fed, the demon inside keeps my emotions dead.
I only want what it is they dread, only I be the one that falls to the floor as they bled.
Keeping these secrets stills my vision, the only way to be free is to make a desicion.
The way I choose will be smuthered in rot, but the eyes that I see, keep my thoughts in a knot.
The laugh that I hear, keep me at the sharp end of a spear.
Love is to blame, but my fear still sway’s in the wind like apples on a tree, untill they finally give up and fall 6 feet.
Love and shame, its all the same, hateing myself it sha’ll remain.
You’re heart is surrounded by the tears that i’ve cried, but still you havent seen the one who is dying inside. Hopfully I will see the day with the sun in you’re hair, and you running my way.
I’d hoped one day you would feel my pain, now together our love remains sane.
Her heart
You’ll lose your mind while trying to leave it behind, the gears in your heart will start to grind. It will hurt so much that you’ll start to go blind. The most sensative people always act like mimes, but only if they cant think of the right line. Her heart is yours and i wish it were mine. The pain is so much, its paralyzing my spine. The love will kill me, so i’ll start to die. My hopfull last words are “I love you”, good bye.

As for stories of hunger and such, perhaps you should not preach of such things. Though, since you have asked, I myself do not have a hunger issue. Human food is something I don’t desire but it is well all the same. When I look at someone’s neck or rather any part of the body, I do not instantly have bloodlust. Instaed I think of that person…how they are could be…what would happen if I just took one taste…I think before I act. I suggest you all do the same.
I do also think of what one taste would be like, I do that the instant I see the neck or wrist.
I think before I do it, I walk away or turn away untill im over it.
I sometimes have “hunger strikes”. Its when I get a random thirst outta nowhere, and it hurts if I don’t feed.
Hopefully they will not return…

oh, bringing politics in on the conversation, eh, Vincilia? Hehe, kinda risky. Well, since you asked I think that Marijuana should be legalized. I never had it before or any other drugs (us nerds spend too much time watching Harry Potter and preparing for the next math meet) but I have heard that marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol. So if alcohol is legalized, then why not marijuana?
oh, I also meant to ask. Does anyone know why or how some people have the same dreams? for instance, 2 nights ago my friend and I had the same dream and we even had a small conversation in our dreams and when we woke up we remembered it. How does that happen? Why does it happen? Its just so weird!

i read something that was slightly disconcerting on yahoo today. yahoo said that the middle class is shrinking. what if this leads to social tension (where i live, there are people from all the social classes. some of my friends are on welfare and some of them live very well. but when i travel to other places i notice the gap between the rich and the poor). I just brought this up because I just read that on yahoo.
i hope that no social tension comes to this. mabye yahoo had its info wrong? (its possible,) but, why is the middle class shrinking? are people getting richer or poorer? do people save money or spend it so much that they are in debt?
