I use the <a href="http://aciddrop.com/php-speedy/" rel="nofollow">PHP Speedy</a> WP plugin that automatically combines the CSS files for me. For some reason when I turn css off in sociable plugin, the sprites do not work, even though the css was added to the main site stylesheet.
