How To Become a Vampire
I was looking at some search stats and noticed that this question (how to become a vampire?) was more common than you might expect. Every day, nearly 100 people were looking for a way to join the ranks of the stylish undead. “An interesting topic for a little tutorial”, I thought. Hence this post.
It seems the jury’s still out on how, exactly, vampires are created. Some sources cite ancient beliefs (mostly useless superstition), some insist on the popular bitten-by-vampire myth, and some claim that you simply can’t “become” a vampire if you’ve been born human. Maybe there’s no single way. So, instead of focusing on any of the aforementioned approaches, I’ll describe three common vampiric features that you can attain without any supernatural help.
Hypnotism (AKA Mesmerism)
“True” vampires have it easy – some mind-control skills are supposedly included in the whole dark revenant package, along with good looks and sharp teeth. But don’t despair, … wait, no, despair is cool. Ahem. As I was saying, hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming are well within the reach of mere mortals, so you are free to learn and use it – even if your heart is still beating. To get an (optimistic) idea of what you might achieve, take a look at Derren Brown. He’s done some very impressive things (videos).
Night Vision
Excellent low-light vision is something I’ve always wanted. You can improve your night vision by using a few tricks, and science might eventually figure something out.
The most promising idea I discovered is NightWalking. The website has a heavy slant towards philosophy/spirituality that reminds me vaguely of Carlos Castaneda, but it also contains a detailed guide on improving your peripheral vision. As you might already know, in a situation when there’s very little light, peripheral vision is much more effective than central vision. Better peripheral vision = better night vision, so this is definitely something worth trying.
Dark and Mysterious
The “dark” part won’t be a problem – just pick something from the wide range of goth stuff available. Maybe invest in coloured contact lenses and/or appropriate makeup.
As for being mysterious, well… * nods and smiles knowingly *
Ah, okay, I’ll be more verbose. There’s a bunch of lame tutorials about “how to be mysterious” on the web, but they’re generally a crazy mix of the somewhat useful and the completely ridiculous. In my opinion the coveted “aura of mysteriousness” is a pinch of secrecy + a certain form of inner confidence. And it’s not the kind of confidence that lets you approach strangers and sing on stage. I’m talking about the kind that frees you from seeking external validation of your thoughts, actions and existence. This is something that very few people have, but it can be learned. Think.
Miscellaneous Thoughts
I suspect most people in the “how to become a vampire” crowd are looking for a shortcut to becoming cool (is that a pun?). That is understandable. My main reservation about this is that it’s an unlikely shortcut — and that most wanna-be’s don’t really understand what they’re asking for when they say “I want to be a vampire!”.
Personally, I consider the concept of blood-craving bona-fide vampires unrealistic. I haven’t seen any reasonable biological explanations for it, and the idea that “it’s magic!” doesn’t do it for me on this overall low-magic planet. Psychic vampirism is a different thing entirely, but there’s generally nothing glamorous about being unable to sustain your existence without becoming a (possibly unknowing) parasite. Okay, parasitism might not be the only way, but I won’t discuss that here.

I am talking to any vampire on this site,if they will generously change me? I don’t care if I end up killing,or seeing,or feeling the life leave my prey as one might say. I could just try getting blood from Hospitials and whatever else. I’ve already met a few vampires. I have learned more than I thought I could about them. Most of them work for thier bosses and some don’t give a crap if they do expose themselves to the world. Most humans wouldn’t believe it. I want to be this creature or as you call it monster. I want to be a vampire. Someone please change me.

It is very hard to change someone. But some just take a chance and change whoever asks’, but I would never change a Human unless absolutely necessary. Most hate their lifes’ after being changed, as they have to kill innocent Humans to survive.
I know that after a year, you would wish you had never been changed.

Jayne^^. I understand your reasoning. I write of vampires. I have written a story on them,most of it is not true and it irritates me. I know almost everything about vampires,because my friend is one and has told me of them. I know that most vampires change humans out of spite,some love,and some to save a life, because they ruined theirs or because they couldn’t stand to have that person die. I’ve wanted this for a while,but I knew that it would be hard to get someone to change me. I have a husband that is a vampire,but he did it over the phone so it dosen’t really count.I dispise him,because he left me alone and dark.I never saw his face,or hear his voice,or feel his touch,only his faded words.-ugh- I will continue to live human until someone decides to change me. Charles huntclifff—— I have a question for you. On page 11, you said “I was once a little boy sudden to serenity. Walking the streets of Île-de-France.” I would like to know if you are still in Ile de France(I am from there by the way) ?!
P.S: I do not wish to be changed like others. I’m just here to befriend you guys. If by the way it interests you, there’s a ‘baby vampire’ born here (in Ile-De-France) and he must be killed(according to a priest) since he has a lot of strength and has even threatened his mother to death if she ever tries to kill him. The baby vampire’s family is actually involved in witchcraft, so they now have a vampire in their family (resulting as a ‘curse’ according to some people). What’s funny is that the baby of 5 months can even talk! I don’t know if it’s a rumor or not but this news is going widespread.
Well the talking thing is no big deal rly, unless his vocabulary is that of a literature teacher, I myself was talking at 2 months of age and walking at.. I think it was rather 2 or 4..

Vampires can’t CHANGE humans unless they KILL them. This lifestyle is one that no pleasant human being would ever want. For those of us who are hundreds, even thousands of years old (in my case), the matter would probably be agreed upon that no decent vampire would ever try to kill a human to awaken them into vampirism. It would be cruel, inhumane, as well as a way of cheating a person out of the destiny they may have lying ahead of them. And in the case of those who are here seaking to die to become a vampire because they hate their lives, FORGET IT!!!! Vampirism would only make matters worse for you. You’d hate yourself even more and want to be dead rather than “undead” I guess you would call it.
In the circumstances that I live in, I’m forced to use my PSI abilities over my Sanguinarian abilities. I’ve survived for as long as I have by using the PSI half over the “other” half of myself, because I’d rather be hidden. On here, I’m simply stating this to try to talk some sense into everyone that is begging. I hate revealing who and WHAT I am to others. It shames me deeply. However, I’ve managed to stay hidden this long, even around a family of humans with which I reside at this current moment. (I’m not going to say where either, so don’t ask.)

Excuse me, I’m new here and have a question for anyone who know the answer.
Do vampires exist in Indonesia? For you who don’t know where is Indonesia, It located near Singapore and Australia.
Yes, vampires probably do “exist” in Indonesia. They’ve spread far and wide, and actually, I’ve visited Australia before. Quite nice, the last time I saw it. That was when all the trees were still there though. I was brought over on the ships that first disturbed the continent. The carnivorous kangaroos were quite surprising though. I’d hate to have been tackled by one of them. Bad enough I ran into that porcupine-like creature.

Hey there I used to belive in this stuff but now I dont. I do how eva belive in ghosts cuse i see them. I most likly will die when im 18 or 19 because I have high cholesteral its higher then a grown up n i am in my teens.
